January 29: Time to Ride the Wave

Welcome to Day 29 of Kick Start 2007!

Can you believe that we are in the final days of January?

It seems to me that the beginning of the year flew by.

How do you feel when you look at the calendar and reflect upon what you did - and did not - accomplish so far this month?

Are you in a glass half-full or glass half-empty place?

Statistics show that, with every passing day, fewer and fewer people still feel on target with their New Year's resolutions.

From a 'law of attraction' perspective, if you feel that you are doing well this year, it is very valuable for you to focus upon that evidence and 'ride the wave' of prosperity.

Additionally, if you are not exactly where you hoped you would be by this point, it becomes even more incumbent upon you to 'spin' your story into one of optimism and unlimited potential.

It has been said that most people tend to overestimate what they can do in a day, underestimate what they can do in a week, and vastly underestimate what they can accomplish in a year.

In other words - it is easy for even the most efficient and productive person to find that they have not made as much progress as they had slated to accomplish by January 29th.

So don't get caught allowing a negative spin on how far you've come year-to-date to derail you for the rest of the year.

Instead, remind yourself of the principles that we've covered so far in the 'Kick Start' program so that you can get your energy and your thoughts back on track.

January 26: Tell The Universe What You Want...

Welcome to Day 26 of Kick Start 2007!

Principle #8: Get Clear About What You Want

'My promise to you is to always give you what you ask. Your promise is to ask.' -- The Voice of God in Conversations with God, Book 1

For those of you who have been faithfully (pun intended) playing the 'Prosperity Game', I suspect that you have been getting adequate exercise of your 'asking' muscle.

This is a very good thing because few of us have been encouraged in childhood to develop the ability to 'ask,' as if 'asking' were an art.

As 'asking' is the crucial first step of the Deliberate Creative process, all intentional manifestors must become very good 'askers'.

For some of us, 'asking' is a challenge.

January 25: Turning the Tables on Elyse

Welcome to Day 25 of Kick Start 2007!

Are you seeking to create 'Prosperity from the Inside-Out' or 'Prosperity from the Outside-In'?

It is my sincere hope that, during the course of this month-long 'Kick Start' program, you've received a glimpse of the long-term value of creating prosperity from the inside-out.

So how do you do this?

Are there simple, clear steps?

For the past two weeks we've shared audios in which Elyse interviewed celebrated scholars.

Today, you can listen to a 30-minute audio where Anthony Treas turns the tables on Elyse and grills her about the practical applications of the 'prosperity from the inside-out' philosophy.

Go to: http://www.choosingprosperity.com/elyseint.htm to listen to the audio, review the related links and gain clarity about how you can apply the 'prosperity from the inside-out' principles in your life.

During this 30-minute interview you will gain insight into:

January 24: Let Me Help You Put 'The Secret' Into Action

I'm still in awe of the wave of giving and receiving energy that we created this week on the blog.

It was positively awe-inspiring.

Everyone who contributed a vision or who reviewed blessings addressed to the community left the site profoundly touched.

But does holding a high vision for another person truly have an impact?

My personal experience demonstrates that indeed it does - in spades!

I received the following email yesterday:

Elyse

It’s so wonderful to ‘see’ that your intention has remained clear and unfettered and that your service has been beneficial to all that allow it in. I took part in your ‘Prosperity Partnership Program' about 2 years ago and my life has become so abundant that most days I am in awe at the expansion that is occurring. Thank you so much for your coaching and never wavering belief that the process works. You are a clear and shining example.

Much Gratitude. Namaste.

Adam M Lamb
Corporate Chef

It was useful for me to pause for a moment to truly reflect upon Adam's words.

And I came to the realization that he may just be right!

January 23: Powerful Co-Creating!

Welcome to Day 23 of Kick Start 2007!

I just love what happened here yesterday.

Did you get caught up in the energy?

In one 24-hour period more than 133 people posted their highest visions for the entire community.

It was truly co-creating at its best.

(Note: If you have not yet had a chance to plug in to the powerful positive energy stream, don't miss reading the uplifting messages under yesterday's post.)

Everyone who visited the blog, to read and/or to share a message, was acting as a 'Positive Energy Sponsor' and each person who participated was indeed uplifted by the experience.

In fact, I've reviewed research studies that demonstrate that when an act of kindness is performed, there is a marked positive increase the blood serotonin levels of 1) the person who received the act of kindness, 2) the person who performed the act of kindness and 3) all the people who were witnesses.

According to the Institute of HeartMath, all of the following benefits can be derived from altruistic actions:

Benefits of Altruism

January 22: Be a Positive Energy Sponsor

Welcome to Day 22 of Kick Start 2007!

Principle #7: The Law of Giving and Receiving

"Practicing the Law of Giving is very simple: if you want joy, give joy to others; if you want love, learn to give love; if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation; if you want material affluence, help others to become materially affluent. In fact, the easiest way to get what you want is to help others get what they want. This principle works equally well for individuals, corporations, societies, and nations. If you want to be blessed with all the good things in life, learn to silently bless everyone with all of the good things in life." -- Deepak Choprah in The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success

Inspired Action: Positively Sponsoring One Another

Are you ready to put this profound and powerful law into action?

We have the perfect way for you to begin!

As Deepak Chopra explains so eloquently, the best way to attract what we want towards us is to imagine a wave of all the best in life flowing towards everyone else.

The concept makes sense when you read about it -- but today I want you to really *feel* the power of this experience.

Let's make it as simple as possible...

I'll begin by posting my wish for you under comments below.

January 19: Secrets of the Game

Welcome to Day 19 of Kick Start 2007!

Today's Topic: The Secret Power of the Prosperity Game

~ Have you found yourself naturally drawn to the Prosperity Game?

~ Are you intrigued by claims that participants regularly experience shifts in their 'real world' finances that seem 'coincidentally' connected to playing the game?

~ Are you wanting to get a deeper understanding of the logic behind the game so that you can get the most out of your game experience?

If so, set aside some time to listen to the audio recording:

The Secret Power of the Prosperity Game

Listen here: ">

In this one-hour recording, Elyse Hope Killoran (founder of the ChoosingProsperity website) and Max Wellspring (Prosperity Guide and Master Energy Facilitator) reveal the powerful principles behind the
Prosperity Game.

You'll find this session especially valuable to you if:

January 17: You Asked for 'Inspired Actions'

Welcome to Day 17 of Kick Start 2007!

Yesterday I asked how this 'Kick Start' program could serve you better.

Here are your requests:

38% - More interviews
38% - A live teleclass on 'Creating Prosperity from the Inside-Out'
49% - More 'evocative' questions
56% - More 'principles'
73% - More 'inspired actions'

You've spoken and I'm happy to follow your lead...

1) We will have two additional audio interviews this month - one each week (but I'll let them be a surprise.)

2) I'll be scheduling a live teleclass (or two) for the final week of the month - where I'll answer your questions live. (If this works well we may make this a regular occurrence.)

3) I'll be asking more evocative questions & encouraging you to share here on the blog.

4) I'll be sending out more principles and...

5) Right away we'll go into a new set of inspired actions

~~~~~~~~~~~
First - let's become clear on the distinction between 'motivated' and 'inspired actions...
As Abraham-Hicks explains:
'You are physically focused beings with Non-physical Energy flowing through you. And it is impossible to separate one from the other. So act - act as much as you have physical time or energy or breath within you to act. Action is a delicious way to spend life experience. Action is one of the predominant reasons you have decided to come forth and be in a physical body.
Yes, act all that you want - after you have flowed Energy towards the outcome that you seek. Let your action be inspired action, not motivated action. Motivated action is doing it because there is a lack if you don't. Motivated action is trying to overcome something. Motivated action is very often trying to perform action that someone else wants you to perform. Let all of your action be inspired action. So how do you do that? You do that by talking about what you want and why you want it. That will bring you to the
vibrational connection with who you are, and from that place you will be inspired to the how, and the who, and when, and where.' Abraham-Hicks G 2/6/93
Abraham's point here is echoed by many teachers who want us to connect with our innate creative power before we try to 'make things happen' in our outer worlds.
One such teacher is Deepak Chopra who addresses this point directly in his blog posting entitled: 'A New Year's Experiment'.
His recommendations for a radically different approach to 'New Years' Resolutions is to focus on the inner instead of the outer.
January 15: Check-in at the Halfway Point
Welcome to Day 15 of Kick Start
New Year's Resolutions Research
40 to 45% of American adults make one or more resolutions each year.
The following shows how many of these resolutions are maintained as time goes on:
- past the first week: 75%
- past 2 weeks: 71%
- after one month: 64%
- after 6 months: 46%
(Source: http://www.proactive-coach.com/resolutions/research.htm)
As you can see, despite beginning the year with the best of intentions, most of us do slip off course.
But the statistics quoted above do not reflect the difference between people who have support in reaching their objectives and people who are doing it 'on their own.'
You joined this 'Kick Start' team to help you maintain your enthusiasm and momentum. And I expect that you are seeing evidence that this daily program has served you well.
The question I'd like to ask at this 'halfway point' is 'what else can we do to support you?'
January 10: James Ray Answers Your Questions
Kick Start 2007:
Welcome to Day 10 of Kick Start 2007!
"If you look at any single person who is not getting what they deserve in life - or what they want - it's because one of these key components is missing.
You've got to go three-for-three. When you do that, you can create anything." -- James A. Ray from "The Secret"
Listen to Elyse chat with James A. Ray ">
This was a great interview (and I'm not just saying that because I was the one asking the questions.)
In this 43 minute recording, James A. Ray (entrepreneur, thought-leader and one of the most popular teachers featured in 'The Secret') speaks candidly about how to make the law of attraction
work for you.
And it's not fluff.
Here's a preview:
"There's a big difference between knowing 'about' a thing a 'being' it.
One of the things that I've talked about is a concept I call going three-for-three.
As I talk to people who've seen 'The Secret', a lot of them are just really in illusion around using the law of attraction. And I know they're in illusion because they say things like, 'Well, you know James I'm just gonna sit in my living room. I'm visualizing every day in my living room every day and I know my millions are just going to come right in to my pay pal account.
Well you know what? They'll come take your furniture away."
